What to Bring to Your Alterations Appointment

Proper Undergarments

To properly fit your dress, you’ll need to know what undergarments you plan to wear on your wedding day. We suggest you bring a supportive bra or any desired shapewear to each fitting appointment. If you are unsure about the bra, your fitter will advise you.

Bringing along wedding dress inspiration to your appointment is very valuable. Print or save some pictures to your phone of the work you would like to have added to your dress. You will be able to review these with your seamstress during your first fitting.

Appropriate Shoes

To ensure the seamstress gets the length of your dress correct, it is important to purchase your shoes prior to your first fitting and be sure to bring them to each appointment.
